In high school I had an assignment to interview a business owner. My friend had a T-shirt business, the owner's name was Joe. I made up some questions to ask him about his business he was serious and patient with me as I had written his answers down in my notebook. I was very interested in what he said and the next day I turned my paper in. I don't recall what grade I gotten from the interview but I did pass the class.
My friends I were good friends, her dad offered me a paid volunteer job for $200.00 a week cleaning screens. I worked hard learning the business. One day my friend was working on a project and I told her that I wanted to make a t-shirt. She proceeded to teach me step by step on what to do. I remember the art work that I drew as my first t-shirt the process was fun and I enjoyed every moment. During those times I was able to expand my knowledge of how to print. Later I began practicing on my own.

I used what I had until I recieved what I needed.

What was so special about my friend is that she never worked for anyone but in her family's company.  I thank God for the opportunity to learn.
